Not everything you see and read on social media about menopause is safe.

Scroll through social media and you see it everywhere. Advice about menopause.
Hormones. Supplements. And increasingly, medication as well.
Shared by women who have experienced it themselves. Or call themselves “hormone coaches.” And that is exactly where the danger begins.
The problem with expertise based on lived experience
Let one thing be clear: Experience is valuable.
But experience is not expertise. What works for one person can actually be harmful to another.
However, you see increasingly often that advice is given regarding:
hormones
medication
interventions that have an impact on your health
Without a medical background. Without training. Without responsibility.
A worrying development
What is even more worrying:
More and more women are seeking solutions themselves. They order medication online. Follow advice without guidance. And experiment with their bodies.
Because they think: “This helped her, so it will help me too.”
But your body doesn't work that way.
Hormones are not an experiment
Your hormonal balance is complex.
It affects:
your energy
your brain
your mood
your metabolism
And intervening without knowledge can do more harm than good. This is not an area for assumptions. And certainly not an area for trial and error.
"Hormone coach" is not a protected profession
Anyone may call themselves that.
That means: That not everyone who gives advice really knows what they are talking about. And that you, as a woman, need to be critical yourself.
What should you pay attention to?
If you are seeking guidance during this phase, ask yourself:
Is this person trained?
Does she work from knowledge or only experience?
Does she stay within the boundaries of her profession?
Does she refer you on when necessary?
That makes the difference between guidance and risk.
Why Victorious Women is different
At Victorious Women, we don't work on assumptions.
We work based on: education, scientifically sound knowledge, and responsibility
We do not prescribe medication. We stay within our expertise and guide you in understanding your body and your brain.
So that you: don't have to take risks, but can take control
Finally
Not everything you see is safe. Not everything that is shared is responsible. And your body is too important to gamble on.
